A deep-dive research experience for serious space science enthusiasts. Publish. Present. Lead.
The Acceleron Virtual Research Training & Internship Program is a 3–6 month extended track designed for students who want to make a real, meaningful contribution to space science. You'll work alongside our core research team on live projects, produce original research, and see your work reviewed for publication in AAJ and IJARISE.
Unlike short programs, this extended track lets you see a project from ideation to published output — the complete research lifecycle.
Work on ion drives, solar sails, and nuclear propulsion concepts for deep-space missions.
Analyse aerodynamic forces, flow simulation, and vehicle design for atmospheric and re-entry phases.
Model orbital mechanics, trajectory optimisation, and mission planning for interplanetary targets.
Research life support, habitat design, and human factors for long-duration deep-space missions.
Contribute to observational astronomy projects and data analysis for mission planning.
End-to-end mission design from concept to preliminary design review for interplanetary targets.
Acceleron's extended interns have published at AIAA, IAC, and the Mars Society Annual Conference. You're not just a student here — you're a researcher.
